Tried to figure out a way to keep Koivu, but he's hitting the market.

Uhh, I can't edit that post for some reason - cancel the offers to Spacek and Kaspar.

Removed Spacek, Kaspar and Dunn (the latter has 38 PE so sayonara). Edited Pettersson and Thomas to 1 year. Most importantly, edited Harkins, Chytil and Blackwood to QOs (if you think this is a bad idea, chip your two cents in here).

« All contracts offered for players coming off their ELC will have an extra 10% added to their base salary for every year of the contract beyond the 4th year, if your offer is for 5-7 years. Contract offers of 1-4 years in length will not be affected. All other players are not affected by this rule. »

So it’s either 4y @ 4.75M or 5y @ 5.25M

I evidently forgot to enter this, but seeing as Florida is under interim management, I am cutting this down to one year. No need to make them commit long-term to a UFA; it's not like he's getting an RFA discount.

I haven't sorted out retirements yet but I'm pretty sure Hank's going to be on the list. He wants to nap more.

Fair enough, I figured that was a possibility. If he does retire no worries, but if he doesn’t I’d still like to re-sign him.

I'm afraid I made an error here by not resetting Pilon's salary to its original pre-retention 4M. He would have demanded 4M again, under the "RFAs don't take pay cuts" rule.

Since I noticed this rather late and it was my mistake, I propose to split the difference at 3.65M. Is that fine with you?
