- All contracts offered for players coming off their ELC will have an extra 10% added to their base salary for every year of the contract beyond the 4th year, if your offer is for 5-7 years. Contract offers of 1-4 years in length will not be affected. All other players are not affected by this rule.

Based on the Patrick thing, figured I'd mention you could also do 4 years at 4M, if you prefer. The 4.4M comes from the same 10% modifer (4M * 1.1 = 4.4M) since Gildon's also coming off entry level.

Gildon could be signed for 4x4 if you want. Tornkvist's QO is indeed 2.7; I'm not sure why Vik corrected that. His number to re-sign outright is 2.8.

It's possible that you copied old numbers from the calculator. Gildon had overdeveloped CH/PO earlier in the year; at some point he was due 5M.

I suppose I'll take the savings then and sign him 4Y@$4M. If I end up having to extend him at a $2M more in the 5th year I suppose I'll just have to do so with a smile on my face.
