Re: SJ-EDM
Much to NJ's chagrin, a couple of Ryan's are traded and the Devils are not involved in the transaction.
Points have been few and far between for Getzlaf this season, but that didn't stop him from being a beast for the Oilers. I just felt I needed more offense and RNH has plenty and still plays a physical game.
Paid a bit more than I would've liked, but I'm right in the thick of it and really wanted RNH.
Thanks Boss!

Re: SJ-EDM
I didn't really want to trade the Nuge since he's finally playing to his potential, but I couldn't say no to this deal. Nuge is a near-ideal #1C but this year's draft is heavy on talented centers so if I'm lucky COL 1st will provide someone of comparable ability, or at least a quality top six forward otherwise. Getzlaf has 2-3 good years left and gives me the option to load up one monster H&G line or have him center Tkachuk on #3. RyJo is younger and better than Anisimov and a 2nd is always worth something. McCoshen, Gildon and Tkachuk will make the Sharks great again next season.
