A Cap storm as come to long island and Eberle is the sacrifice which is disappointing as I envisioned him here longer on McDavid's wing. In Z i get a gritty player who still put up 43 points last season. I'm saving about 3m in space.

Stepping into this GM role my main goal was to bring the Jets back to the post season seeing as they've been absent for the past few years. We were in quite the opposite situation as NYI as we have cap room to spare so this was just an obvious upgrade to the forward core. Hoping Eberle can provide us some solid 60+ point seasons for the duration of his contract. Tough to part Zharkov as his cap was great and he could grow to be something but we feel Eberle is going to give us what we need next year at a very affordable rate.
