Detroit is buying out the last year of Scott Glennie and Mark Pysyk's contracts.

Glennie: 2.0m * 75% -> 1.5m - 0.3m = 1.2m
Pysyk: 3.64m * 75% -> 2.73m - 0.3m = 2.43m

I announced before that crappy vopatizers fled to Europe and were replaced by equally crappy non-vopatizers.

It's possible that they incorrectly ended up on pro rosters instead of farm, so just demote them if that's the case.

None of those guys are fast-signs. They're players who replaced vopatizers you signed yourself in 2020 (Rajala, Setoguchi, Werek).

If you had tried this with, say, 3 games to go, I suppose it would have been a little over 0.375*85/3=10.625 in penalties each, and technically manageable. Although that just gives me another reason to amend buyout rules for next season to add a deadline of either the trade deadline or sometime earlier (it's Jan 1st in the NHL AFAIK).

Sabres buyout the remaining year of Mikko Koivu’s contract. 4.8m x .75 =3.6m - 300k = 3.3m. Spread over 2 seasons = 1.65m penalty per year.

Sabres buyout the remaining year of Robert Hagg’s contract. 1.85m x .75 = 1.3875m - 300k = 1.0875m over 1 season. That number may have to be rounded. 1.09m, 1.1m, whatever is fine. Make him go away.

3.3m*65/(65+82) = 1.45M x 2y for Koivu.
Hagg will be rounded to 1.1M, yes.

For some reason, Irving still appears with our prospects.
