I didn't notice till now that MTL is over 50 contracts due to the Valk trade. But several other teams are also over.

If this is going to be penalized I'll buy out Samsonov. If not, I guess I won't.

Yeah, no problem for me. Just didn't want to have more than 50 contracts because of that. If it's not a problem until the offseason, then all is good.

Although I didn't get around to setting a deadline on buyouts (there will be one next season), I already told VAN last season that you can't do this:
