With Merrill ($2,04M) on LTIR and Misyul who just got off it, I can bring my salaries up to $62,04M, yeah?
MAXCAP means you can have 60.416M in salaries + penalties - LTIR. So with 2.04M in LTIR and 0.503M in penalties, that's about 61.95M in salaries alone.

Got it, thanks.

LA and NJ are over the cap, and LA is over the contract limit too.
LA can get under by demoting Zadina. NJ can get close by demoting Pettersson (no point in keeping him up for LTIR as he's waiver-ineligible) and sending Veleno down. Trading Despres + JFJ would help, too.

A lot of teams are at least slightly over the cap, which I neglected to nag about last night (well, earlier this morning). I'll re-run the numbers after tonight's sim.
I apparently missed NJ's Colin White LTIR, but they're actually still slightly over even with it (and Pettersson's LTIR/demotion, whichever it is) because of Couture's first game back off the IR.

Shouldn't Karl Alzner be on the LTIR or I guess on the TBD list since I've haven't played since? Lost him for 14 days.

I don't know why you counted me over the cap. Gusev is on LTIR. 6 months out... Thanks

Ottawa appears to be over. I didn't investigate closely but I expect it's due to replacing MacLepd with a more expensive player.

Hmmm
I don’t get it.
I had 1.27ish of cap space.
I demoted MacLeod (1.25M) and called up Rubins (2.5M).
So I’m not sure why I’m over??
EDIT: I just realized that 425K of MacLeod salary still count!!

NJ ended the season $1000 over the cap and will have a penalty of that sum for next season (harsh, I know).
