My only line restriction will be that hit & grind will not be allowed. You're not going to see a lot of hitting on the big ice and there aren't a whole lot big hitters on most teams. Other than that, any tactic for any amount of time is fair game.

One other thing: Your backup goaltender must play at least one game. Coaches like to get the backup a game, generally against a weaker team, so I'd like to keep this idea in play for our sim.

Going to be a late night with the Olympic file. My procrastination caught up to me. Three teams entered so far. Going at a rate of about 10-15 minutes per team. 15 x 9 = 135 minutes. Hope to be done a little before 1.

A few tweaks left to make to the file, but it's pretty much complete.

Sweden v Czech Republic and Latvia v Switzerland tomorrow.

To those with teams, I appreciate your involvement so far and I hope it continues. I took a pretty good amount of time to make this file because I respect you guys, I respect the league, and I want to do what I can to uphold the standards that have been set for EHEC. As a result, I hope that you guys do your part by sending lines and instructions.

Here's how to access the file:

1. Download this: http://www.ehechockey.com/EHEC_Olympics.zip
2. Unzip the contents to your desktop.
3. Make sure you Run EHM as an Administrator.

Keep this EHM separate from your main EHM. By opening the EHM in this folder, you will be able to access the updated config_teams.ehm file that has changed the first 12 teams into the 12 countries participating in the Olympics. If you want to add an EHM shortcut to your desktop, rename the shortcut so that you don't get that EHM confused with your regular one, especially if you have other leagues.

Within that folder is the Olympics save file, which you can access in EHM. Following sims, you will update that Olympics savefile the same way you updated our nightly EHEC file.

I'm going to bed, but I'll be up early and I'll check for any questions you guys may have on how to get the file working. Pat should be around too and I think he'll be able to help.

Quick update: Had to fix the Swiss roster and decided to change the file name of the major upload to EHEC_Olympics.zip, because I'll run into issues with uploading just the savefile as Olympics.zip.

As I posted, injured players will not be uninjured to play in the Olympics. You'll have to go with a roster of 22 since no changes can be made now that the games have started.

I will just have to win it all with 22 guys that's all

Due to a roster size misunderstanding, Team Canada is forced to cut Ryan Murray and Milan Lucic from the roster. Sorry, guys.
