Schedule & Results, League File

Drama and tragedy abound with heaps of epic third period meltdowns on a spooky, uh, Tuesday the 13th. Carry on.

Gotta ask, even though I'm sure its obvious, I have no idea what a "WG" is.

"58:34 3-3 PIT Jack Hughes [1] (Andrei Svechnikov, Seth Jones) WG"

Wait, you mean PIT had their goalie pulled right? EN is empty-net, is WG meaning, like, an extra attacker on the ice?

Yes, it means they scored Without (their own) Goalie on the ice.

Losses for New Jersey, Montreal, Colorado, and Arizona, along with wins for the Islanders and Detroit, have removed most of the teams that were left. The leaders on both sides are unable to continue their streaks (Colorado at 3-0, Boston at 0-3), but there is still a chance they get passed... but not today, as only San Jose plays.

(^ means they have a game tomorrow)

Undefeated teams:
(2-0) Florida, Edmonton
(2-0-1) Calgary, St. Louis

Winless teams:
(0-2) Columbus
(0-1) San Jose^

Through 4 games, Hoefflin has 8 points and 24 PIMs. That checks out.

It is a great idea and I'm definitely not going to complain about it the first time I suffer an OTL.

I feel this in my bones. I also definitely will certainly not complain.
