Panthers accept. Beefing up the top six while dealing from positions of strength (defensive forwards, shutdown defencemen). Ranger is a third pairing guy on FLA's defence and Sauve can handle those minutes.

Had my eyes on Ranger for a while and I knew FLA had an overload of D.

As for Duchene, he did not live up to my expectations for his salary.
