It feels weird to be getting the "best" player in the deal while rebuilding, but it's also debateable whether Perron is actually the best player in the deal. None of these players are very consistent and Perron is obviously the highest paid.
For me, I'm not sure what I'll do with Perron (though I will consider re-signing him), it's mostly about improving future draft position. I was going to let Latendresse walk and probably do the same with Dellandrea, so Perron gets a chance and we'll see what he can bring. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
