Washington, Tampa, Winnipeg, and the Sharks all won 4-2 games, Nashville beat Pittsburgh 5-3, Dallas beat the Vancouver 3-2 and LA and St. Louis tied 3-3 despite a boarding call against the Blues with just over the minute left in OT.

So if my math is right, San Jose's win clinched them a playoff spot, while Dallas' win also probably did (depending on tie-breakers). Meanwhile at the other end, Calgary has joined those of us who have been eliminated.

For tonight: New Jersey needs a win and a Carolina loss to stay alive.
