Confirmed. Continuing in my redevelopment of the team around MDC/Eichel, after Toews and Nash went, I started looking for some DEF-minded wingers, which Lucic obviously fills. Great player, happy to have him. The trade adds cap space to me, which I don't love since I just got some from the Nash deal, but it's not so much that I am worried. Lindholm and Ehlers had fantastic years, and Ehlers contract may honestly be one of the best for 1 more year, but I have Quinn Hughes and Jonah Gadjovich up for their first years in the NHL and it's the reality that there just aren't enough spots for everyone.
