Will be giving up the best player in the deal long term, but with an old team, need to win now. Johns is a solid D with a good physical presence. He will be a good addition to my top 6. Hirvonen will be a really good NHL C one day, but not for another few seasons.

As much as it pains me to assist JC in any way, Hirvonen's a great project and waiver fodder Reinhart can replace Johns for now (not that NJ's seriously contending anyway).
