It's 2am, I don't know why I'm awake, but anyway. Also it's been *months* since I've done a sim, so sorry if I messed anything up.
Calgary beat Florida 4-3 in overtime, on the powerplay, despite being outshot overall. Pyotr Kochetkov stopped 34 of 37 for the win, but the sexual predator man with the terrible mustache befitting of the someone who would sexually harass a security guard was given first star.
The Stars took the only three penalties of the game and gave up a powerplay goal but my Wings still lost in a back and forth game. Burakowsky, Sprong, and Malkin each had two goals for Dallas.
Another back and forth game in Winnipeg saw the two teams manage to score 3 goals on 5 powerplays, with the Oilers' two helping them to a 5-3 victory.
Nashville also won 5-3 over the Blues, but they did not score any powerplay goals on their 3 attempts.
The Sens entered the first intermission with a 2-0 lead but Carolina seemed to get momentum from a fight at 21:29 (or possibly the offsetting roughing penalties at 25:12 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯), tying it up around the middle of the second. They fell behind, tied it up, fell behind, and tied it up again, before Tom Wilson scored the winner with under two minutes left.
Finally, Tampa Bay failed to score on 7 powerplays! ...but they also scored on two, with the second goal the gamewinner. It is worth noting that the Lightning managed 18 shots on their 9 total powerplays but only 26 shots overall o.O
