Oilers over the Canes 4-2, Flames topped the Avs 5-2, Canadiens beat the Canucks 4-2, Caps over the Rangers 5-3, Ducks narrowly defeated the Sharks 3-2, while the Lightning took the Leafs to task in a 7-1 victory.
The game of the evening was the Sens and Blue Jackets - the Sens withstood 2 goals late and held on to win 5-4, but it cost them an injury to another defenseman this past week as Gustav Forsling will be sidelined for a month. Columbus' Grigori Denisenko will sit the next 4 games as a result of the tomfoolery. This game was not without penalties, with Jacob Middleton almost getting a Jason Middleton hat-trick (patent pending) but decided to settle for 2 fights on the night, the second one being to avenge his fallen teammate almost immediately upon Denisenko's return to the ice.
Admin Notes:
-I did not input Dallas' new lines (they didn't have a game tonight), as it is showing not enough D and LW (I think it was LW) on the pro roster. Montour is DtD, but I know there was some salary cap issues so I didn't touch anything - Dallas does not play again until Thursday, so at the moment no harm no foul.
