The Buffalo Sabres set a possible new league record, injuring four Vancouver Canucks in one game. The only lasting damage is to Alexander Nylander, who's out for three weeks courtesy of Jacob Larsson. I can't think of anything else notable that happened.

There's some good teams (SJS, CAR to name 2) that are struggling early too so I won't blow this puppy up. But boy, Lucic can't come back quick enough!
