Incredibly, I only had one game to sim and I'm not entirely sure if it counts as an interesting one, considering the winning goal was scored in the first period. Edmonton rolled over the Avalanche in the first period, outshooting them 12-3 and putting up two goals. Colorado did respond, sort of, first by allowing a powerplay goal, then scoring one of their on a minute later to make it 3-1, and then giving up another powerplay goal. The third was quiet, shots even, only one goal (another for Edmonton), and no penalties.
Tkachuk, Stafford, Tippett, and Kuznetsov had two point nights while Pavelec stopped 16 of 17. Colorado's best player on the night was... uh, Damir Galin? Who the hell is Damir Galin? Anyway, he had 7 hits and 7 takeaways, but no points and -1, so that kind of sums up Colorado's night. Carter Hart seems to have brought his San Jose form to Denver, giving up 5 goals on 30 shots.
And, well, that's about it. I didn't see any team practices, trades, signings, or anything else really. Feels weird, like I'm forgetting something obvious.
