It's no secret I've been searching for a LW for the last few weeks. I felt I needed an upgrade to compete with the best of the best. But it's been tough; no depth LW available for a reasonable price and elite LW have been tough to come by. Krecji is a little slow, but has elite offensive skills and will hopefully jump start my top line.
I've wanted Pietrangelo since the league started. While Gudbranson has a lot of the same attributes, Pietrangelo speed and puckhandling sets him apart.
Leaving a big gap down the middle with trading Staal, but I'm hampered by the cap. My PK sucks, so he's become expendable as his offense is limited. Kessel will slide over and I'll hope for best.
Oshie provides depth and the futures are expendable because of my balance of picks. Retention evens out the money, since I have no cap room.
