It's a night of "fantastic" goaltending that provides only one close game.

The Sens tie it up in the third, only to have Chet Pickard melt down and give up three unanswered. Boston avoids the sweep as a result. Thank Hunter Jones and first star Ryan McLeod (ooookay).
The Jackets put forth a respectable effort thanks to Anthony Mantha's brace of goals but lose on the second shot of OT courtesy of clutch deadline pickup Alex Radulov. They're down 3-1.
The Bolts ventilate the Rangers, thanks to a you-know-what from Tuukka Rask and two goals from Jonathan Toews. The Rags go 0/6 on the PP and allow a shortie to boot, sending them down 3-1.
The Panthers paid little heed to their bag skate, putting forth a lackluster (though not quite as lopsided as the score indicated) effort to go down 3-... oh, sorry, 4-0. So the cats are the first team to bow out (gracefully) from the playoffs, again thanks to two goal effort from the Habs' Matt Boldy.

Whelp. You can't lose two at home, especially this way. We had 7 and 6 PPs in each, respectively, and I know PP goes wwwaayyyyy down in the playoffs, but to still give up 6 goals? Man. Half the team is on the golf course ⛳ and the other half is UFA

Speaking of wild swings:

PIT's Perlini and Zibanejad lead the playoffs with +7 in 4GP each. BFFs!
NAS's Filatov-Zacha-Boeser lead the other direction with -8. BFFs!

Ugh... no, my FTP program fucked up, chucked me into an old save folder, then somehow uploaded the correct boxscores, schedule etc but an older players.ehm. Anyway, I fixed it. Sorry if I overwrote any training changes. I re-entered EDM's lines since they're the only ones changed since last night.

If it makes you feel better, I’m pretty sure my whole team hit the links a couple weeks before the regular season ended.
