This is it! Game 6, a chance for the Stars to clinch a Cup at home! Boo Nieves opens the scoring just 1:24 in, but the crowd quiets down after replies from Ovechkin and Kostin. Nieves ties it up early in the second, and the Stars are tied midway through the game... then it all falls apart. Amirov retakes the lead for the Habs, Kostin tallies his own second goal shortly thereafter - another rare powerplay marker - and Dellandrea pots the extra insurance marker with a minute to spare in the second, chasing Darth Vladar from the net. Kaliyev's early third period goal brought the Stars as close as they'd get, as a Dach response and the Russians running roughshod help the Habs double up Dallas. Keys to the game were a whopping one powerplay for Dallas, and their top 5-skater unit with a disappointing -4 night.
