Condition: If COL's pick - or any other 2023 3rd acquired by Colorado - ends up higher than DET 3rd, Vancouver has the right to swap back.

Generally if you include an option to swap picks, you can't move any of the picks involved until the condition is resolved, so how are you expecting this to work if either of the picks are moved again?

I accept.

The condition is only recognized if Colorado has a 3rd higher than the DET 3rd, If I move DET's 3rd, that part of the deal becomes void.

Right, just like me moving my 3rd would also resolve the condition.

Conditions, better spelled out:

• If both teams keep the picks involved and COL 3rd is higher than DET 3rd, the picks will be swapped.

• If Vancouver no longer has DET 3rd when the 2023 draft starts, the condition is void and there is no swap.

• If Colorado no longer has COL 3rd when the 2023 draft starts, and has not acquired another 3rd higher than DET 3rd, the condition is void and there is no swap.

• If Colorado no longer has COL 3rd when the 2023 draft starts but has acquired a 3rd higher than DET 3rd, that pick will be swapped for DET 3rd.
