The Bolts get off to a strong start as Namestnikov opens the scoring two minutes in, but Evan Bouchard's clapper silences the crowd not even 3 minutes later. Unfortunately for rat-tossing Cats fans, Carey Price shuts the door the rest of the way, Ondrej Kase comes out of hibernation to score the game winner early in the 2nd, and Phil "Conn Smythe" Kessel pots two insurance markers to remove any doubt.
