Anton Slepyshev scores the game-winner for Ottawa on the first shot of overtime in a game that probably shouldn't have been as close as it was, considering that the shots were 35-13 (and yet Ottawa was down 3-1 after two periods and had to pour it on to tie it). Big Hell Mountain kept the Habs close while Eric Comrie managed to avoid letting in a fourth, while the Habs' second unit went -3.
Over in Tampa Bay, the Bolts looked to be cruising entering the third period with a 4-1 lead (the most dangerous in hockey), but what I'm guessing were three solid clappers from Michael Del Zotto (the third tipped by Zach Budish) tied it all up within 13 minutes. Then Jonas Siegenthaler scored the game-winner for Tampa Bay on the first shot of overtime in a game that actually was fairly close in shots and other metrics.
