With Chicago winning + Anaheim and St Louis losing, the Ducks and Blues are officially eliminated from playoff contention and the 8 playoff teams in the west have been decided. In the East things are closer, but the Isles' win leaves Carolina on the brink of elimination.

On the not so fun side of things, Owen Beck took out Tyler Myers for 14 weeks, which means that Beck hits the golf course early and gets to miss the first 9 games of next season as well.
