OTT takes a 2-goal lead into period 3 and promptly blows it, as Nieves and Boldy tie it up for PIT. But then just to be safe, Corson Ceulemans knocks out Nieves for the rest of the game (no penalty), and despite the 5-0 PP count in PIT's favour, noted sniper Justin Kirkland scores on the - you'll never guess - first shot of OT to give the Sens a 2-0 series lead.
Over in TB, Evgeny Kuznetsov is the star as he scores the opening goal and sets up the eventual game-winner and insurance marker. TB puts up 10 shots on 4 PPs, but doesn't score, of course. The difference is Carey Price saves 23/25 while Semyon Varlamov only nabs 23/27. Series tied 1-1 heading to TO.
