Welcome to the 2011 EHEC Entry Draft! Eastside's Hockey Elite Collide has grown to new heights during the second season of existence and it could not be possible without the contributions of my Committee members, past and present, and the general managers who I have become friends with and I appreciate the level of respect that they have shown me as Commissioner. It takes a lot of time and effort to keep up the league in the manner that we have and, while I do most of the file work and a third of the simming, it takes all of you to make this entire thing possible.

I would like to extend my congratulations to Glen Ramsden's Phoenix Coyotes for their EHEC Stanley Cup win and also to Matt Bernier's Pittsburgh Penguins for their performance leading them to the Stanley Cup runner-up. Also, my congratulations to the Worcester Sharks and their GM Dan Taranu for an impressive performance in our first AHL playoff simulation.

Plenty of exciting things have gone on in the league this year, from a revised rulebook to a financial policy overhaul, and everything in between. The hours I have spent slaving over the new rulebook, the AHL playoff file, the draft class, and everything else has been a source of enjoyment for me, surprisingly, because I know that this is what Ryan and I envisioned when we started this thing. We were not going to half-ass it, we were going to do it the right way and with maximum effort.

Be on the lookout this year for even more league upgrades, hopefully to be released sometime in early August.

Thank you to the cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis for their hospitality, as well as the GMs for their hard work scouting this year's draft eligibles.

So, with that, I extend the floor to my former Co-Commissioner Ryan Spurrell because the Philadelphia Flyers, in light of this morning's blockbuster trade, are now on the clock.
