I took a page out of Parker's book and voted for myself. 8-)

Nashville. 5 of those 8 wins were legit.

Yeah voted for myself, think I actually deserve it though as well, beat 2 of the top 5 teams in the league without Kovalchuk or Fowler on a not very deep team. I am impressed.

San Jose is the only team that I've lost to in the last 14 outings.
My team sure deserves some praises but I'm voting SJ anyway.

Gotta go with Calgary here. He's done the most to help his team in terms of transactions. They paid off in January.

You cited wins against Eastern teams as being legitimate, unlike wins against illegitimate Western teams (who by the way are way better your conference sucks sorry).

New Jersey Devils / Raymond / 7-3-1 / Ws: @PIT, @EDM, @WPG (SO) BOS, PHI (OT)

Toronto Maple Leafs / Mike / 7-3-1 / Ws: TB, WPG, BUF (SO), NYR

Washington Capitals / Tim / 7-3-1 / Ws: CGY, TB, CAR, @MTL, @PIT (OT), BOS

San Jose Sharks / Dan / 9-4-0 / Ws: CBJ, WSH, @CHI, CGY (SO), @EDM, @CGY

Calgary Flames / Julien / 7-3-1 / Ws: @NSH, NJ, LA, @LA, @EDM (SO)

Nashville Predators / Sebastien / 8-3-1 / Ws: CAR, PHI, @NYR, CHI, CBJ (SO)
Well. I liked NJ's record, beat teams like PIT, WPG, BOS, PHI (4 legit W's). TOR had 2 legit W's (WPG + NYR). WSH had 3.5 legit wins (CGY .5 + PIT + CAR + BOS). You beat CBJ, WSH, for legit wins. I still firmly believe CGY is way overforming and overrated and will collapse come playoff time (just my opinion) so I credited you beating some stiff competition but CGY twice and EDM once made me vote for NSH considering they are barely a .500 team and beat two top 10 teams. Also had 2nd highest W total of the month with one less loss than you.

Well see your team sucks for dominating your division, whereas Philly's totally a legit contender what with being a whopping half game ahead of 9th place.

I beat Columbus and Phoenix (or was it in feb?) with my backup goaltender and I didn't even vote for me!

Notice none of these clubs beat Detroit....

Well....your top line is Dustin Boyd-Bryan Little-Luca Caputi....

With a defense not having anybody over 70 OF and only guy over 80 DEF. 3 of them should be healthy scratches (Vlasic, Letand, Lashoff). On top of that you don't have an 80 OF guy, Bobby Ryan is playing out of his mind as is Kiprusoff.

I just don't think it lasts is all. It's not a personal attack or anything, I just think your team is playing well above where they should be.

My team does suck Dan, I don't know what you're arguing?

Vlasic and his 88 CON should be scratched? Seriously?

What should I be doing with Grossman, Salei, and when I used to have Morrisonn? Those guys don't seem to be hurting me.

So if a guy is 50/60 with 90 CON you're going to play him? His attributes are all average besides that. I don't think he'd play on your team (besides maybe over Salei), he wouldn't play on mine either. He Don't see anything wrong with Grossman and Salei as a 6th D is completely alright. He'd be the 6th D on WPG/PIT/PHO/LA/SJ. I guess Vlasic is alright as a-6th guy but being in the top 4 is surprising.

In what way is that relevant? Vlasic is 64 OF and 73 DF. Light years from 50 and 60. I don't see how that illustrates your point at all.

I'd rather have 73 DF and 88 CON than 78 DF and 65 CON.

I think Vlasic's a solid 2nd pairing guy. Obviously working for Calgary.

Vlasic played pretty well for me. I only traded him because of a budget crunch.

I dunno, do you maybe have an explanation for why Philly's so much more legit of a team than Calgary or Chicago?

Well without Phaneuf it's a known fact that my defense is kinda weak.
But still I'm spending only 11 000 000$ on my current starting 6 compared to your 22 000 000$ invested in yours.
I guess you get for what you pay for.

On the other hand, I benefit from a great veteran goaltender and a well balanced, physical and yet skilled group of forwards.

This month's selection was very close as all nominees received at least two votes. With eighteen votes cast, I've decided to award a split GM of the month to Calgary and Nashville leading the way with four each.
