Home teams go 4-for-4 tonight, due in large part to going a combined 7-for-12 on the powerplay. da Hawks overcome the loss of Chris Drury last game to take care of business against the Leafs. The Penguins get blanked by Leland Irving and the orphaned Stars. The Oilers and Ducks take care of things in the late games.

Mayfield beats down Byfuglien and gets his first career point on an assist to Wright who ends his 28 game point/goal drought. The 2nd assist goes to Downie who after 20 games as a leaf finally records a point.

Roy's point streak is snapped as Buffalo blows a tire late after having a couple days off. Short trip to SJ tomorrow, happy with the way the first line has been playing, but need to figure out some more production after that.

8-0-2 in my last 10, that loss had to come one day.

At least the STL - EDM game did not go into overtime. Now I have two teams to catch... gentlemans, we have a playoff race...
