Unlike their real life counterparts, the EHEC San Jose Sharks titillate the faithful back in California by erasing last year's demons and winning the Western Conference. Along the journey so far, Dan's club has ended the title hopes of the Blues, Coyotes, and now the Blue Jackets. They now await the victor of the Eastern Conference final, a series that will at least need a couple more games to decide.

Columbus' top line showed up this evening by opening their scoring and kickstarting the third period rally. Unfortunately, however, the Jackets were unable to score the goal needed to survive another night. It promises to be an interesting offseason in central Ohio as Adam's squad falls short for the second time in the conference finals.

Congrats Adam on making it that far. I'll soon be joining you for the bronze medal game.
