What in the world is up?

Hello! My name is either Dallas or Sean and, given that there's no team named Sean, you can probably guess I'm the new Dallas GM. I'm fairly competent, or at least I think so. Please don't fleece me too hard if we ever get into trade discussions, I'd like to at least pretend I'd be a slightly better GM than Scott Howson (but in fairness, there are illiterate South Americans who've never seen ice that might stand a chance of accomplishing that). I'll say this here so everybody gets to see it - I'm considering taking offers for the #4 pick in the draft because I might be interested in moving down.#

So, yeah. Ask me anything that pops into your head.

Sup. If I win 2 of my next 3 games I'll trade you some playoff flops for your most valuable assets. Otherwise you can have the dregs of my system for your top prospects. Good luck and have fun.

Welcome to the league, Sean. Sean had one of the best applications we've gotten in a long time, so I'm excited to get another quality guy into the fold.

Make sure you check out the Avatar Galleries in the User Control Panel that our TB GM put together for us. Very slick.

Good luck!

Thanks for the welcome guys, and keep the terrible trade offers flowing. It's wonderful stuff. How long was Dallas left unmanned before I got here?

Quite a while. Probably a year and a half or so.

So, with no GM around, who's been accepting trades and signing free agents? I ask mostly so I know who to throttle for trading James van Reimsdyk away, no biggie.

Dallas hasn't been part of any trades for a while (last Nov. 2011, the aforementioned JVR deal which we nearly rejected, and probably should have). I acted in Dallas's best interest with some FAs and re-signing of players.
