....so the lockout's over, and apparently no one cares?

Anyway, what are you looking forward to about the upcoming start of the season? I for one am curious to see how quickly Carolina fans will turn on Alex Semin. Also, seeing Minnesota not win more often, even with Parise and Suter.

I'll save my cheers for when its official after tomorrows vote by the Board of Governors.

I am happy tho, the whole time Ive been saying that if it goes one season, theres no reason why it wouldnt go another year and thankfully that will not happen. NHL Hockey is back and maybe we'll see some July 1st Stanley Cup games which would be killer especially if a Canadian team is involved.

When it comes to the after effects of the lockout will have financially or fanbase numbers, I could care less about what happens south of the border. Retraction is an option the NHL can't avoid forever, especially after the last 110+ days.

I'm really pleased they finally ended this non-sense. I can't wait for the season to start.
Here's what I'm looking forward to:

Thanks, Julien, for kickstarting the massive wave of Bruins coverage we're about to get here in New England. And by massive, I mean "the scraps left over after talking about the Patriots."

There's no better hockey team that I know of. Hands down, the Bruins are the team that's the most fun to watch on TV.
They can score. They can scrap. They're filled with signature players. They're known to be mean.

I understand you're a Canucks fan, Brad.

Sucks on this ;)

The Bruins are the scum of the NHL, period stop. No team even comes close.

Yeah I guess flyers are a close second but I've never seen anybody on PHI in the modern era do the shit that Brad Marchand does.

No? Then you missed Ken "The Rat" Linseman. Mega-cheap shot artist who spent some quality time with Philly. Oh, and um....also Boston.

I root for Toronto and Columbus, it's all downhill from here.

Julien Julien Julien being a Bruins fan and living in Quebec, pathetic. Suck a dick!!!

Can't wait to criticize Tomas Kaberle and Rene Bourque and see how our Canadiens will turn out under Marc Bergevin. Prust, Bouillon and Armstrong will bring a lot of grit should be fun!

They're going to try, sure, but look at this shit:

Phaneuf-Gunnarsson
Liles-Komisarek
Concussed Gardiner-Unsigned Franson still in Sweden
Holzer

Reimer
Scrivens

Couldn't care less.

All it does is lessen the talent I'll see at Monsters games.

I'm thinking DGDVDG will still be in Cleveland, given John Mitchell's unwarranted theft of his number in Colorado.

Won't have Barrie or Elliott, though. Team will suffer without Barrie. Difference maker in almost every game.

Should still have both Pickard and Aittokallio at least.

Yeah, Barrie's awesome.
Love seeing that guy come through as a Rocket, the only guy who didn't fucking quit during that WJC disgrace to Russia, and now as an Av.

Local kid too, it's a shame he's gonna spend his life paying off his dad's debt and trying to keep him out of prison.
