Lucic looks to be heading for a vacation via the EHEC Player Department of Safety; Dany Heatley is gone for more then a month. However, the Wings do get two points. Jaden Schwartz lulls da' Hawks to sleep with the only goal of the game. Phoenix cruises over Edmonton, as another team that had a facelift this summer struggles early.

Though I don't know about buyouts. Washington has Wolski hurt so they're fine in relation to the cap (barring penalties I'm not aware of). For my Habs, Fisher's buyout (3,450,000-690,000=2,760,000), Svatos being on the wrong team (1,300,000), and Matheson's injury (850,000) are why I'm over. With those adjustments I'm at $63,977,500 before my trade with Chicago. So that leaves Winnipeg as the only team that appears to be over right now.

As for # of contracts, Fisher and Svatos will bring me down to 51 but I missed counting Honka after the deal so will have to drop someone. Ottawa will be fine when Malone gets dropped. Can't speak to New Jersey or Vancouver.

There's a buy out thread in the waiver forum.

I know, I was saying to deduct $2.76M from the figure I had for my salaries (68887500-2760000-1300000-850000=63977500).
