Oh boy, glad Bub let me have this one. A wild 3rd period erupts in Calgary, but Zach Boychuk gives DaveG and his Canes the win. An original EHEC Season 1 GM match-up in the Shark tank. What is going on in San Jose? Godfather Burke sends the Sharks to a shocking 1-6-1 start. Dubinsky with the hat trick, Isles beat the Bruins. Pittsburgh DESTROYS the Wings. Also, Pittsburgh used ILLEGAL lines. 70 sec HNG on 2nd line; max 50 seconds per line of HNG or NZT, 70 total. Blues, Yotes, and Kings roll on.
James (BOS), are you still have GM Office problems? Lines were inputted via e-mail tonight.
Chicago GM, you had double shifts on your AHL lineup. CPU'd
Dan, you had to many skaters on your AHL lines. CPU'd. I started Volden, though. End your lab tests, go back to winning.

Cons: 1 point instead of 2.
Pros: 1 point instead of 0.
Cons: Shitty +/- from my top-2 lines.
Pros: Goals from my bottom 2 lines.
We'll take it and move on.

Oh boy a 1 goal loss with Thornton and Kovalchuk the only useful players. Very original.
I guess Watson playing 30+ minutes while Clowe got under 6 is new.

Great game even if Ovechkin was a complete no-show.
Now's the time to get on one of your ridiculous streak.
As long as Rick Nash keeps playing this way, we have a chance every night.
He's a monster out there.
Finally, you need a break Ricky, right?

Nothing wrong with that according to this:
Tampa Bay GM wrote:LINE TACTICS
1. Max 2 H&G and/or NZT lines, with a max total of 70 secs combined
2. Min 30-second first line shift, whatever the tactic
3. Min 20-second shift for any line, whatever the tactic
4. No HNG or NZT on 1st line
With the Erne demotion, Columbus has 4 underagers.

David Steckel knocked out by Max Lapierre for 5 months.
And I somehow missed before...
Under pro roster minimum of 22:
Columbus
Carolina
Florida
NY Islanders
Nashville
Over cap:
Chicago (64,005,000)

Rule 3.3 in the rulebook says max 50 sec per H&G/NZT shift. It was never repealed; the rules Justin listed are additions and unfortunately incomplete.

Yes, Bub cleared that up in a earlier thread. Apparently the new rulebook is done, so the confusion should be cleared soon.

Dan is right: that rule was never repealed, and my feeling is that it should still be in there.
Also, the new rulebook is in final editing stages. I'm wrapping it up, but these pesky 40-hour work weeks get in the way.

No wonder I kept simming and Pit were killing me everytime.
I resimmed with his illegal lines, I lose 5-1, then I reduced his H&G to 50 sec and lose 6-4.
I want compensation for playing an unbalanced situation!
I'll take his 1st round pick, hey can't blame me for trying
Ok I'll take a free beer then

Hmmmm 2nd penalty for Chicago now? Looks good since I am playing them next......what is 2nd penalty? Starting goalie and 3 best OA players benched isn't it?

Should point out that I don't include DTD injuries in my calculations and he has Patrick Sharp as DTD. So if we take that off (do we?) then he isn't actually over and can obviously just make any demotion to get under should Sharp be activated (and he already has made the necessary adjustment).

Only 2 week+ injuries provide cap relief.

Max Lapierre suspended for injuring David Steckel --
Six month injury + third time offender = 10 games x 2 repeat-offender-bonus = 20 games

20 games? Damn, and a player under suspension does count against salary cap right?

Yes, but he does count towards the 22 minimum.
