CBJ rolls into Washington and destroys the Caps 4-0, outshooting the home team 32-13;
WPG scores three unanswered to top the Canadiens 4-3, and injures a player to boot;
SJ gives up 16 even strength shots....and allows 4 PP goals on 6 shots to lose at Florida 4-3;
BUF wins the race to shoot first in OT and thus wins the game at STL, 4-3;
NAS holds off EDM in a wild one in Tennessee, 5-4;
CHI dresses just enough players to top the Lightning 4-2; Tyler Biggs ices the game for the 'hawks late;
Despite a Mark Jankowski hat trick, ARZ blocks a DAL extra point to win in the shootout 7-6; and...
OTT proves to be too much for VAN, 4-1.

Tough debut. When I got Eager I assumed him getting suspensions could be a problem. Hadn't considered it the other way around.


With Toffoli activated, Winnipeg's over the cap (time to send Kennedy back down).
Rocco Grimaldi is still in the AHL. With Steckel's injury they have enough cap space for him but they need to demote someone for the roster spot.


And in old men dropping POT news, Kiprusoff is down to an 82 (dropped 2 whole points). So everything's going swimmingly for Washington these days.

Wow, 7-6 after shootouts with Arizona. Should've been an entertaining game to watch . . .

At least i keep getting a point in a bunch of the games lately.
I think those stats in the AHL game are wrong.....The score is wrong, or the score sheet is.....and if my team can keep getting 2 goals on 4 shots, i am game for that, as long as we win lol

The AHL game engine is a little nutso. But at least it differs from the NHL/EHM version where you actually can build a "super" team and win games like 12-0.
