Trade Deadline

75/25 pro-ration kicks in tomorrow, so we are officially in deadline mode.

And the trade deadline is Monday, March 2nd. Trades must be posted on the boards by 8:00pm Eastern time, US. At least one partner must post the trade by that time.

Oops! Thought it was the third. Which means 75/25 pro-ration is official in effect!

Given Bub's deadline, if were being down to the hour 75/25 pro-ration starts at 8 PM ET today. If it is just the day, the pro-ration period started at 12 AM ET today.

Had someone ask me this, so if it is not clear...
Yesterday, both the receiving and sending team would of retained 50% of a players salary in a trade. Now, the team who is trading away a player takes 75% of their contract. Therefore, the cap hit is 25% for the team acquiring a player.
