Eastside's Hockey Elite Collide

I thought this is something we could start up depending on interest. I would take care of running it, a Yahoo! based head to head format where we'd need at least 12 guys to have a decent experience. There may be perks for playing but I would hope everyone just loves it so much they'd join anyway

I guess we're talking about traditional fantasy baseball and not an online OOTP league? I'd be very excited about the latter but as for the former... it'd be fun but I probably don't have enough time/interest to get on board.

Yeah, traditional as I've never played OOTP before (just googled it).

We'll be busy with a summer tournament on the boards here, Glen, so if you just lumped fantasy baseball in with checking up on the league tourney, I'm sure you could find a couple minutes.

Not too late necessarily, but there really wasn't enough interest on here to get one going.

I'm going to have to pass, mainly because I don't follow baseball like I used to and don't show much of any interest in it until late August/early September, and my time constraints right now.

If this goes through though, I'd recommend doing what Jayzin does over on Fhockey and post a screenshot of the leaderboard every so often on the forums; add to the competitive nature we already display around here.

How about a +10 consistency to any player 50CON and under?

i dunno about any ehm incentive unless we are getting the whole league involved...seems like its not really fair, how much does a prize eligible league cost on espn?

60CON and under makes sense. So that the ones that don't want to participate don't feel likes it's unfair.

Well, the season starts Sunday night at 8, but leagues that draft Sunday don't start scoring until the 2nd week of the season.

The draft would probably have to be at night either tomorrow or Friday.
