After discussing this with Dan, that's what came up and we'll use those from now on.
Could be revisited if need be but I doubt it does anything but keep things a little more realistic.


Scoring: From 150 to 125.

Penalty: From 125 to 135.

Injury: From 100 to 110.

Fighting: From 110 to 75.

So that means more penalties and less fights?

To be more specific, it can also be viewed as slightly more penalties and considerably less fights.

Any plans for more slider changes this off-season?

FYI, that 25 point decrease in scoring led to 500 more NHL goals scored in total than EHEC. Or, in percentage terms, about 8% more goals in the NHL. (7552 NHL, 7012 EHEC).

I'm not complaining, but a 25 point swing made a difference. It be nice to lock into some sliders for awhile so GMs can plan there teams long term....

Yeah, I prefered when the scoring slider was at 150 too.
There were less goals but the goalies' stats (besides rating) didn't reflect that a lot.

I just realised Vegas probably accounted for half the gap between EHEC and NHL...

So really only 250 goals between us and NHL...

I would just like to see moves in the sliders being less drastic (10 points a season) and you and Dan provide more guidance...

I'm thinking about trading some offense to land physical/defensive player but am unsure if were using these settings for awhile....

Opening up the discussion again. Will talk to Dan but I prefered when the scoring slider was at 150.
All the other sliders were fine I think, unless someone comes up with numbers to prove me wrong I think they should stick.
