Ryan is a solid upgrade over Salminen, and the difference between the picks shouldn't end up being too bad.
If my team improves a bit and turns it around, Ryan will be a good asset for the postseason. If we don't, he'll be good for the trade deadline.

Ryan was doing a good job, as usual, but he's the cut I'm willing to make in order to bring up Hischier who has grown a lot faster than I thought he would. Salminen will be in and out of the lineup and even sent down at times but he's on a cheaper deal and that's what I was looking for.
