I have been shopping Doughty for a while (without much of a success, maybe his cap hit played its role in it) to get a much needed centerman, since my defense is very good even now, with the likes of Chychrun, Broberg, Seabrook, Mueller and others. I have to deal one of my higher salaries away to get what I want and need and to be cap compilant for the next season. Colin White will be perfect for me in the third line with a newcomer Sprong and alongside Burakowski and I get my SC winning draft (last pick in the first round) back. So this deal fills my needs nicely.

I continue to add con to my team. D-men with offense and great checking and positioning is what I've been searching for to play with Larsson in first line. Looking forward to how will play d-men like Doughty in first passing line.
