Dergachyov continues to impress, named first star of the game helps to overcome the Blues

Alex Dergachyov continues to impress with scoring two goals and assisting on the next one in a win over St. Louis Blues.

Overall team defensive play wasn't very good, but with Dergachyov's elite performance and with Malkin and Armia collecting their first poitns of the season, the Dallas Stars did just enough to overcome the Blues. Bogdan Yakimov collected an assist in his Dallas Stars debut but, suprisingly he was playing very irresponsible hockey. He needs to improve his game in order to push himselft into the line-up. Alex Coulombe was said to sit out for this game, but in the end he played and but he had an excellent game. Chychrun and Seabrook were separated from each other for the first time and it seemed like a good idea. Meloche haven't played a great game. He has to find his spot. Also, coaches are still not sold on Niederreiter's play but to his credit, he is seeing very limited ice time, so we'll see how will it go. More or less, the same goes for veteran Derek Roy. Promising youngsters Fortier and Raddysh are knocking on the NHL doors from the AHL.

Korpisalo also didn't had his greatest game between the pipes. So far, it seems like him and DiPietro are rather inconsistent. Maybe Vladar will get his chance, if things don't change..
