I'm going to sleep on my decision and post it sometime during the day on Monday.
Can't say that I'd put my grandpa dying alongside a player from my fantasy simulation hockey team getting a career-ending injury. But, sorry to kick you while you're down.Tampa Bay GM wrote:They say bad things come in 3's. Pretty crazy stuff, I would assume that's going to change the landscape of online poker for next 2-5 years while its tied up in court. OH CANADA! Knock on wood we don't go the US route in terms of regulation/taxation etc. /hijack
As long as none of the East playoff teams object. I don't know what kind of competitive advantage he'd give as an assistant at this point, but I'd prefer to run it past them before I do that for you.I'm 100% cool with Adam's vote and really appreciate you putting him back in-game. 99 motivating players obv. What rules have taken the enjoyment out of the game? If you're talking about the financial policy, all I need is a basic understanding from the GMs. It takes me all of a minute to a minute and a half to calculate the contract for them if they don't know how. I double check all of them anyway.Femur wrote:back to the commish: you know i have been lecturing you on putting too much work into this for sometime; i wonder if my chiding had some influence on you? no? fine, but i hope you continue to roll with this wave. your hard work into making the most realistic, well anything, is greatly appreciated, BUT i think you need to keep enjoyment (yours and ours) in mind in your never ending pursuit of realism. when it takes your 745 man-hours of work to override a simple rule that was only put in there for player ease in the first place, well, you should at least consider whether or not a more realistic scenario is going to add to anyone's enjoyment of the game.
This I already know. I just wanted to know if you had a problem with any of the rules. We could discuss over a round of golf or a few beers.Femur wrote:kinda the response i expected. here is a more blunt, less wordy response: you're insane.
