Every home team won except for NJ, who were crushed by MTL. In a minor miracle, Samu Perhonen was pulled after allowing 5 goals on 17 shots through 33 minutes, and his backup allowed no more goals... but neither did MTL. Elsewhere, there were plenty of penalties and most of all in DAL, where WPG's Mattias Samuelsson earned a 6-game suspension for taking out Owen Pickering for roughly the rest of the regular season.
