Oliver Wahlstrom and the Blue Jackets' penalty kill took their chance to play spoiler with a 2-1 win over the Devils, who went 0 for 7 on the powerplay. Wahlstrom scored both goals for Columbus (in 8.5min of TOI??) and Dennis Hildeby stopped 25 of 26.
Toronto took advantage of New Jersey dropping points, though Marc Staal ruined things late in the 3rd by injuring Nazem Kadri for... 6 months?!?! fuck, sorry Leafs :\
My Red Wings extended our league lead, recording our 12th tie (I wonder what the EHEC record is?) against the Panthers.
Unlike Toronto, Edmonton wasn't able to take advantage of Chicago dropping points, losing 5-1 to the Islanders.
The Sens came back from 3-0 down to score four straight, including three in the first half of the third. However, Taylor Hall levelled things with the goalie pulled, and the Kings rescued the point.
I don't know what to say about the Penguins 4-3 road win over the Blues.
