Chicago's 4-3 loss to the Oilers puts them on the brink of elimination, with any two Chicago losses and/or Colorado wins deciding the playoff teams in the west.
In the east the Rangers' 3-2 defeat of the Hurricanes means that the Leafs remain just a point behind Carolina for 8th, now with a game in hand.

I'm not sure HOW exactly EHEC will do it. But with this and 2 more against Danolina I'm going to "butterfly effect" their standing which 15 steps later will result in my summertime blow up and trading Matthews and Cutter
