In St. Louis, the Blues have 3x the powerplay opportunities but still 1 less shot over (26-25). Still, they remain tops on the Sharks as they go up 3-0 by the middle of the second. While San Jose makes it interesting with one in the second and one to start scoring in the third, STL puts up three straight and that's all she wrote. The Blues, somehow I'm writing this, Sweep 4-0.

In Detroit things are more interesting as Dallas scores within the first minute, but Hot-Hand Kotkaniemi and Willy Eklund each score their 6th this post season to go up 2-1. Dallas scores in the 2nd and 3rd, unanswered, and its Noel Gunler playing hero as both the first and last scorer. We will head back to Dallas 2-2 and the series is now Best-of-Three.

The BLUES!? Well, congrats Lumir. When I joined and wrote that article about the league, 3? years ago, they were near the top of my assessment. Goes to show I know absolutely nothing about this game.

Not sure what I could have done about my starting goalie putting up a sparkling .802 sv% while Gibson was at .918 but let me know if you have ideas.

Sh*tload of factors.
And yet, just another reminder that goalies are voodoo.
