Significant strengthening of the goalie position in NJ. pair with Perhonen is elite.

Ratzlaff is worse than Perhonen and was supposed to play the role of the second one. It is not a major loss. Kravtsov and Alexeyev do not have extended contracts and I did not count on them for the next season. Kravtsov is unnecessarily expensive for me for the role he played most of the season and Alexeyev will not fit into the starting six of defenders next year. In addition, Badinka, Dvořák, Svozil are waiting on the farm.

So high quality incoming for 3 players out of key position in team.

Spencer's CON is 77.

He was pretty good for us as an addition, and was also good in the playoffs, but we simply need to spread the money elsewhere.

I like defensemen like Alexeyev and Kravtsov is interesting sniper who wasn't getting a lot of ice time, so he could turn it around and score 30+ goals for us, in the right scenario.

Ratzlaff is a talented young goalie.
Currently we have none for the next season - he's young and cheap so he fits the bill.
