Man, that's the most overrated move of all time. I can do that with my goalie stick while wearing a blocker and glove, and I'm not joking. I realize he's 9, but I'd say 25% of kids that age who play at a decently high level can pull that off.
That said, to do that in a shootout (as opposed to a practice) and in front of that many people definitely makes it a lot tougher.
