This sim was so easy I'm worried I fucked up something obvious. Only two games on the night, no trades, no signings, nothing special beyong a single extra practice. So, uh, thanks?

Anyway, Buffalo and Carolina battled out a 4-4 tie, with Sabres' trade deadline acquisition Erik Johnson doubling his season goals total (from 2 to 4), while recording a primary assist. The Hurricanes also had their own 3-point man, but it was one goal and two secondary assists for Kerby Rychel.

Then Pittsburgh also scored 4 but, unfortunately for Toronto, it was a shutout. All four goals were on the Pens' powerplay, which was a perfect 4-for-4 on the night.
