After the draft, I was pretty certain I was writing off this year but free agency seems to have turned things around so might as well try to have some fun. This trade will result in some players who very clearly do not belong in the AHL ending up in the AHL, but there aren't many players around with Burmistrov's offense so we'll take advantage of Chicago's cap woes while adding to their collection of 1sts this year (they're closing in on 1/3rd of the opening round's picks).
